Merry Meet everyone!

I’m making preparations this weekend for my journey to Dragon Hills gathering west of Atlanta!  I’ll be there from Thursday, Oct 27 – Sunday Oct 30th.  I wonder how cold it will be!?!  I’m looking forward to the bonfire!

NEWS:  I was just confirmed to DJ the Halloween/Samhain dance party for the L’Aldila Restaurant at the Cassadaga Hotel in Cassadaga, FL on Hallowen/Samhain evening!  It’s going to be a blast!

Doors open at 8pm, and I’ll be cranking up the dance music from 9pm to 12 midnight!  You’re guaranteed to hear some old Halloween favorites mixed in with the hottest GaGa-Rihanna dance beats of today!

$10 gets you into the event, and even includes one free drink!  There will be food for purchase as well, from the amazing L’Aldila restaurant.

So put on your boogie shoes, re-apply your best dance Monster makeup and come on over to the The Cassadaga Hotel which dates back into the 1920′s!

For those who have never been to Cassadaga, FL, it’s an amazing Spiritual town, known for it’s Psychics and Mediums!  Cassadaga is centered on a natural energy vortex, which drew the original Spiritualist residents there so many years ago.

Cassadaga is the perfect Halloween setting for a fabulous party!

I am excited to report that I’ve been booked to perform at the 2011 Samhain Dragon Hills Retreat near Bowden, GA in 2 weeks.  I haven’t been to a gathering since April when I was at Phoenix Phyre in Lakeland, FL.

It’s always great to go hang out with like-minded peeps and indulge in all that nature has to give.  I’m looking forward to long conversations next to the bonfire, and lots of hugs.

I’ll be performing my original Pagan Dance music at the gathering along with some of my older ballad-y type songs.

I’ll also be teaching the 1st class from my “The Magickal Voice” workshop series.  That’s always a fun class to teach.  I love to see people’s faces and reactions when they are able to manipulate matter right before their eyes, just with their voices.

I’ll be bringing my tarot cards along in case anyone there wants a reading.  They are housing me in one of the small cabins there, so I’ll probably set up shop and do a few readings daily.

If you nearby, I hope to see you out there!  It’s only $30 to get into the gathering, even at the gate.

Sunday the 23rd of July!  18 days, and almost 3,500 miles later, I made it back to Orlando, FL!  Home Sweet Home!

Let me tell you… the end of the tour started to become a blur.  So much driving, and meeting so many people, and being so tired = Blur.

But it was all a blessing and completely enjoyable.  I even caught up on my Podcasts on my Ipod while driving in the car.  (I played them through the car stereo system through the AUX Input.)

It was completely worth it, I met so many wonderful people, and I can’t wait to do it again….

…. but I think I’ll rest for a while 1st!

Hugs to all !

Now where’s my pillow!

I left Indianapolis, IN around 10pm on Friday evening the 22nd, and drove to Nashville, TN where I got see my friend Carissa from college.  I only got to sleep a couple hours there, and then it was up and on the road again to complete my drive to Atlanta, GA!

I had to be in Atlanta, GA by 3pm on Saturday!  I taught The Magickal Voice workshop, broke for a quick bite to eat, and then set up for the concert at 7pm.

I was so tired this day that I completely lapsed on photography!  I only had a couple hours sleep the night before and approx 533 miles of driving!  It was a long 24 hours to say the least!

Thank you Sherry & John for having me into your lovely shop!  I appreciate it!

A special thanks to Natalie, who took me in and lent me her spare bedroom for the night!

The birthday Crone, Rita!

I arrived in Indianapolis, IN about 1 to 1.5 hours before the concert time.  I was greeted by an energetic fairy who quickly escorted me into the shop to Jan, the owner. I was then taken on the tour.

The Magic Candle is what a Metaphysical store should look like.  Built into a historic building, it has exposed brick wall, herbs, books, & curios everywhere… and cats.  There were several very well kept beautiful cats living there full time, but there were also several young kittens underfoot playing in and out of every crook and cranny.  Being a lover of Bast, I loved it!  “It’s a Fluffy!”

I only got to take one photo on my phone, because it had died by this time, but I should be receiving some more photos from the shop owner, Jan, soon.  I will edit and add those photos at the end of this post when I receive them.

The little room I performed in was packed with shining faces, and everyone enjoyed the music and the silly stories I tell.

I played one special song that I don’t always perform called “The Crone Chant” for the birthday girl, Rita, who was just celebrating coming into her “Crone-hood”.  I put her into the middle of a circle of people and we all danced and sang to her!  She loved it!  Especially when we called her the “Bitch Goddess!”  (It’s part of the song.)  Happy Birthday Rita!  Be careful where you point that newly claimed Crone finger!

Velda enjoyed belly dancing to my new song “Death’s Lullaby (Let the Shadows Still the Light), and is an energetic smiling soul!

A special thanks to Jan, owner of The Magic Candle, for booking me last minute on the tour.  It was wonderful meeting you and your beautiful community of Pagan peeps, and I look forward to returning again in the future!

On Thursday, July 21st, I left Kansas City, MO and drove to Saint Louis, MO where I spent the evening with my dear friend, Jackie, from college.  It was great to see her and visit.  In my rush, I forgot to take a photo of us on my phone for my blog.  :(

I snapped the above photos of the Saint Louis arch on Friday morning when I was leaving Saint Louis on my way to Indianapolis, IN.

In this photo, I am crossing the Mississippi River just outside of Saint Louis, MO over into Illinois.

I’ve been trying to describe the heat that I was experiencing in Kansas City while there…

Well, I came to St. Louis on Thursday, and it’s still hot here too.

I caught this photo at around 7pm here in St. Louis.  It’s the temp read out for outside actual temp!  100 degrees at 7pm!

It had been hitting 101 and 102 consistently for days!

It’s actually cooler back home in Florida!

I am so blessed to have Aislinn, owner of Amethyst Dreams, as a friend in my life!  She has been one of the driving forces behind my success as a performer at Heartland, as well as a merchant there in years past.

The concert on Tuesday night, and the workshop on Wednesday night were both small & intimate, and fun was had by all.  Special thanks to Angel & Randal, who also attended this concert, after already attending on Sunday elsewhere!!!

For those who missed out, and to those who have never checked out “The Crossroads” and Aislinn’s store, you really need to get down there!  Besides being a New Age / Metaphysical store, it’s a Healing Center!  They offer massage therapy, reiki, psychic readings, and a host of other services!

The Crossroads area is very artsy, with a bunch of art galleries, and cool stores.  The Grinders deli is delicious and has an amazing “Gouda Potatoe Casserole” which I couldn’t get enough of.

“Amethyst Dreams” is located directly across the street from “Grinders” at 412 E 18th St, and the entrance is on the side of the building.

They have an eclectic array of merchandise, from Shamanistic to Wiccan jewelry and clothing, many of which I have never seen anywhere before, and many other unique odds and ends.

Amethyst Dreams DOES do mail order, so you may want to ask for a catalog.

I spent some time with Aislinn on Wednesday, sharing with her how to use Twitter, email marketing, etc, so make sure you find her Twitter feed and befriend her!  Just search for Aislinn Firehawk, and tell her Alexian sent ya.  She is going to be sharing healing thoughts and tips on an on-going basis, amongst other valuable advice.

I also spent some time doing a video walk through of the store, and plan on mixing a YouTube video for her.  It’s the least I could do after all that she has done for me over the years.

Thanks for hosting me Aislinn!  May Amethyst Dreams continue to grow in the Light of the Lord and Lady.

… When I rounded the corner to the shop, I saw a very large RV BUS!

She is such a sweetheart to provide such an amazing place for me to sleep in while I’m in town!

If you are coming to the concert tonight, our the Magickal Voice workshop on Wednesday night, you’ll see what I’m telling about, because it’s parked right infront of her Amazing Shop!

Amethyst Dreams is located at 412 E 18th St, Kansas City, Missouri, currently (at least this week) behind the big RV!  Lol!

Yesterday (Sunday) was a big day  for me. I got up and had breakfast with family in southern Missouri, then said my goodbyes, and drove north to KC.  Upon arriving at Mystic Treasures, I immediately set up for the Magickal Voice workshop during the hottest part of the day… It reached 100 degrees!

The workshop went very well, and you could tell I had their minds working on how they were going to apply it to their practical lives.

The concert was later that evening and was blessed by a family of 3 who traveled over 3 hours to be there and meet me, Marcus, Mitch, & Lynn.

Also in attendance was Angel & Randall, Alexian’s self appointed biggest fans!

It’s HOT here in Kansas City!  It’s hotter here than it is in Florida! So even though the concert was cool, I was soaked with sweat by the time we got all the equipment loaded back into the car.

Thanks to all that attended, including Dawn, & Carl. By the way.. Dawn, thank you for my spontaneous reading!!

A heart felt thanks to Penny & Leann for hosting me in their beautiful store, and special thanks to Marcus, Mitch, & Lynn for driving over 3 hours to come see me!

Eternal Hugs to Angel & Randal!

Later, I drove into downtown Kansas City to Amethyst Dreams for my next gig.  Aislynn was providing me an RV to sleep in during my 4 day stay in Kansas City.  But when I rounded the corner to the shop…. (to be continued)
